CLUB UPDATE: Please join your fellow Rotarians for the annual District Conference this May 20-23, 2010 in Eugene, OR as we see, hear and are inspired by the many ways Rotarians have and still are working in their communities and around the world. We will celebrate these accomplishments in an atmosphere of fellowship and goodwill. Again this year, the District Conference is being combined with the District Training Assembly on May 22 giving more Rotarians than ever the opportunity to be inspired as well as prepared for Rotaryʼs future.

FOUNDATION UPDATE: April is the last month that our club will match Paul Harris donations. Remember "Every Rotarian, Every Year".

POTENTIAL FUNDRAISER: The Rotary Club of Medford has patented a rose and named it the "Goodbye Polio Rose®." Their Club is pleased to offer fellow Rotary Clubs an opportunity to sell this Rose as part of their own "Polio Eradication Program" fundraiser. Selling is easy! Fifty Medford Rotary Club members sold over 360 bushes locally in 2009, their first year of the fundraiser! The Rotary Club of Medford will provide us with all the tools:
• Information on how to conduct the fundraiser.
• Potted Goodbye Polio Rose bushes.
• Each bush labeled with a colorful descriptive tag.
• A tri-fold brochure template describing the Polio Eradication Program, rose bush photo, description and care, and personal ordering form.
• A poster template for advertising the rose sales.
• A form to keep track of orders and delivery dates.
• Planting and growing instructions.

Our cost is $5 per potted rose bush (plus shipping) with the minimum 50 ordered. Suggested resell price is $20 per plant. Limited quantities are available so place your order soon. Anyone interested in heading up this Fundraiser please talk to President John or PE Peter. This is a Ready MadePolio Eradication Program Fundraiser Selling the "Goodbye Polio Rose®."
